Taupo Intermediate School is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Ministry of Education. Copies of the Code are available on request from the School Office or from the Ministry Website at http://www.minedu.govt.nz.

Students (and their parents) must be aware that their Student Visa specifies that they are in New Zealand to study at Taupo Intermediate School. If a student ceases to attend this school, New Zealand immigration will be advised.
A student’s place will be terminated for any serious breach of school rules or NZ law. All students at this school will be aware of our discipline procedures. International students will be treated in the same way as domestic students, in terms of Stand-downs, Suspensions and Withdrawals.
The student must have the correct visa (Student visa) for their studies in New Zealand and forward a copy of these documents to the school as soon as they are issued.
